How do I enter the courthouse?

You should plan to arrive at your hearing early, approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Before entering the immigration court, you will need to go through security screening. Many immigration courts do not allow food or drinks inside.

Immigration courts are often located in buildings that house other government offices. Check your hearing notice to find out which floor and courtroom you need to go to. Many immigration courts have multiple courtrooms, so make sure you are going to the correct courtroom.
