If you see on the court system website that your next hearing will be online (INTERNET-BASED), that means you need to join it through the Webex app.
- On the website, find your judge in the list:
https://www.justice.gov/eoir/find-immigration-court-and-access-internet-based-hearings
- In the window that opens, at the bottom there will be links to download the Webex app and to join directly from the browser.
- You can also download the app in advance using this link:
https://www.webex.com/downloads.html
- To join from the browser, click “Join from your browser”.
- In the window that opens, you only need to enter:
- name
- email
- the code from the picture
Registration is not required.
- Join this way 20 minutes before the hearing starts, with the camera turned off. There you will be asked to stand up, raise your hand, and swear to the truth of your words.
Turn off the microphone when you are not speaking.
Tip: be careful when you test in advance so that you do not accidentally join someone else’s hearing and distract the judge.
If you want to use the app, then before following your judge’s link, register in the app in advance.
